Hewlett-Packard (HP) just announced their new Tablet at HP's webOS event on Wednesday, namely HP TouchPad. The TouchPad is the HP's first webOS tablet and designed for mobile productivity that offers a great internet experience around the house or on the go and ideal for anyone who wants the benefits of the amazing webOS platform on a much bigger scale. HP TouchPad is running on WebOS, preloaded with free Kindle app for access to more than 810,000 titles from Amazon's Kindle Store, and supports multi-tasking for multiple applications running at the same time.

The TouchPad tablet is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-CPU APQ8060 1.2GHz, 9.7-inch capacitive touch display with 1,024 x 768 pixels resolution, 512 MB of RAM, optional 16 GB or 32 GB internal storage, to 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video calling using Skype, Internal stereo speakers with Beats Audio, support Virtual keyboard, Rechargeable 6300 mAh battery and measures in 240 mm x 190 mm x 13.7mm with approximately 740 grams (1.6 pounds).

Other specifications of the HP tablet are 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR with A2DP, microUSB connector with USB 2.0 Hi-Speed, 3.5 mm stereo headset, A-GPS support, optional 4 G LTE network, HTML browser that support for Adobe ® Flash ® Player 10.1 beta, light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, SIM-card slot for on mobile broadband, support Microsoft Exchange email with Microsoft Direct Push Technology POP3/IMAP and compatible with HP Touchstone for easy charging.

The HP TouchPad tablet also offers HP touch-to-share to share web addresses between TouchPad tablet compatible and webOS phones, HP Synergy for integrated yours contacts and calendar, HP Movie Store for download movies and TV shows, TouchPad music app for transfer and play all your favorites from your personal music collection, Just Type that allow you to search contact, emails, social networking with typing in the main screen and Tap to Share that allows you to touch the HP Pre 3 to the top of the TouchPad tablet to exchange info. TouchPad tablet is expected will be available in the summer 2011 without information about price at this moment.
