Developers of BlackBerry RIM annual CEO Conference Mike Lazaridis revealed finally new Tablet PC - the guide of the BlackBerry. He described it as the first multiprocessing and multi-tasking Professional Tablet PC.
Guide is working with the BlackBerry tablet OS which is developed by RIM, QNX technology software company. Guide is done with a lot of platforms and technologies like POSIX OS, SMP, Open GL, BlackBerry 6, Webkit / HTML5, Java, Adobe Flash and AIR, as well as RIM the new platform BlackBerry WebWorks. Dubbed as the "fastest Tablet ever" by Research In Motion, BlackBerry Playbook has 1 GB of RAM, 3 front oriented megapixel along with a rear lens of 5 megapixel camera for video conferencing and dual-core Cortex A9 1 GHz processor which means that it has "power" for multitasking. The guide will be able to record HD video 1080p and equipped with an HDMI port, as well as a microUSB jack, networks WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1.
BlackBerry guide can also playback video in 1080p full HD, H.264, MPEG, DivX or WMV. It is also capable with MP3, AAC and WMA audio playback.
It is a 7-inch Tablet with 1024 by 600 touch capacitive weighing exactly 0.9 pounds(400g) which means that smaller and lighter than the Apple is tablet, the iPad, and little heavier and larger that the Samsung Galaxy tab RIM said offer 3 G and 4 G future models of guide. Guide also has Kindle App capable of reading confirmed by Amazon, a feature that really excited readers.
It works with Flash and AIR, i.e. Flash sites that do not run on the iPad Tablet PC, will at least be visible with its Flash 10.1 while Adobe AIR of the guide will open exciting animal and effective web experience with the help of its WebKit browser.
Is hoped that RIM BlackBerry Playbook launch in the US market early this 2011 and give free rein to the world by the second half of the year. Estimated price has not yet been released.
