Sources from ViewSonic have revealed that the company will release an Ice Cream Sandwich-powered tablet at the Mobile World Conference next week.
According to sources, the 7-inch ViewPad G70 will feature a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, with a pixel-per-inch count of 169. Sources say that the device will be “ultra light” and will be equipped with a mini-HDMI, a microUSB and a mini-USB hub. It is also reported that the ViewPad G70 will sport a 2MP rear-facing camera, will have a microSD card slot, and will run on 1GB of RAM. The tablet is also set to offer 3G connectivity to customers.
Nothing has been made official by ViewSonic, but a listing online has the tablet being sold for $350. The full reveal is expected to be made sometime during MWC 2012 in Barcelona.
