Your mind dog taking s Tablet PC?
I don't know why, but the medicines for both human beings and our pets usually bitter taste or otherwise revolting. And the dogs are notoriously suspects at the time of requests take Tablets of any description. Remember, your dog has an acute sense of smell. It is difficult even to convince the average pooch swallow any medication designed to cure any disease, illness or disability that is suffering. Your poor dog does not understand that he is trying to help him. No, they are invariably such treatments with enormous contempt and disdain.
My Rottweiler, Kara, is really not too bad, with Tablet PCs. mainly easily can prise his mouth open, place medication in the back of their tongue, and then keep the mouth closed for a few seconds and she'll usually swallow without too much fuss. Or if it is a really unpleasant tasting, a piece of the Tablet around peanut butter usually will do the trick quite well.
Not so my Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Jet. Oh no. Fortunately Jet has been surprisingly free of disease for 10 years. I only hope that this image of health phenomenon will continue for the rest of his days. Because on the occasion of odd when it should have to swallow anything slightly to a Tablet PC, oh my God, what fuss.
Dread giving Tablets - medicines and vitamins alike. You would think she would know by now that I was not trying to poison him. But not. She runs away and hides in a corner, slipping skillfully far provided that approach. And when catch you and release the Tablet in your mouth that one would think that Jet life depended on his making every conceivable attempt to spit the Tablet . Peanut butter? Forget - she only licks all shutdown and spit the Tablet . Tasty cheese? The same. Crushing up to mix it with his scrambled eggs and canned tuna and canned dog food? Not a chance. Going up their nose and outside it trots.
So the only option is to keep the mouth shut until the Tablet disintegrates, because oh my God, Jet is absolutely determined to not swallow.! It takes several minutes of hanging tight to his mouth and keeping closed while she takes his tongue between the lagoons bit in his teeth again and again return to make any possible attempt to vomit the offender Tablet PC, and when this fails, she simply foam at the mouth. And froths and froths and froths up think that she almost goes to drown. And when it is everything, she refuses to have anything to do with me (for at least 10 minutes until that fades the terrible memory!)
I guess that I must tell my stars so that one of my dogs is a pushover with the dreaded Tablet PC taking stage!
